Villa Viste is located in the heart of Funäsfjällen, in central Sweden, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of rolling mountains. Around the corner awaits a stay full of activities and wilderness in every direction. Hiking, cycling, running, mountain peaks, skiing, snowmobile trails, beautiful expansive views, and fantastic restaurants to explore – all year round!
An apartment for the entire stay
Villa Viste is not just a cozy mountain apartment. We have equipped it so that you, as a guest, will feel at home throughout your stay, no matter the time of year.
Three bedrooms, bunk beds, a sofa bed, a large and airy living room with a panoramic view of the Kåvan area, a fireplace to warm up by, and a sauna to relax in after a day on the slopes. On the terrace, you can enjoy your coffee on a bright summer morning, and in the late winter, Norrland’s fifth season, you can have an après-ski in the courtyard and enjoy the warming rays of the sun.

Ski in & ski out
180 meters to Kåvan Express and all of Funäsdalsberget’s downhill skiing. Equally short to the cross-country trails and over 300 kilometers of groomed ski trails throughout Funäsfjällen.
Ski storage
Right outside the door, there is a spacious ski storage on the wall, roomy enough for the whole family’s equipment. Padlocks are available to borrow.
The sauna
Nothing beats a warm and cozy sauna after a day on the slopes. On the second floor, you can sit in a bright and open environment directly adjacent to the shower and toilet.
Washing machine & drying dabinet
Hang your clothes in the large drying cabinet after a sweaty day on the cross-country trails. Right next to it, the washing machine is ready. A drying rack is also available.
A kitchen for the entire stay
The kitchen is fully equipped for a comfortable stay at Villa Viste. Induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a large kitchen table for all guests. For a touch of extravagance, you can use the large Champagne bowl to keep your bubbly chilled.
The Loft
At the top of Villa Viste is the Loft, a small extra floor with a TV, Chromecast, Playstation, and two comfortable armchairs. It’s the perfect hideaway if you want some alone time in true northern style.

The fireplace
We know—a cozy fireplace after a day in the winter wonderland is hard to beat. It’s ready for you in the living room, and firewood is available for purchase from locals or in shops around the village.
Parking and electric car
Right next to Villa Viste, there is a large parking lot that is free for our guests. Electric car chargers are available at the Kåvan lift, a few hundred meters from the apartment.
Year-round service in Funäsdalen
Funäsdalen is the central town and a community with service functions, grocery stores, health centers, and a Systembolag (liquor store) that are open year-round.

Many people think the mountains are just for winter enthusiasts. We can reveal that Funäsfjällen is a fantastic destination all year round.
On summer and autumn
In the summer, the mountains are ready for magnificent outdoor experiences such as hiking, mountain running, cycling, via ferrata on Funäsdalsberget, live music on the mountain in Tänndalen, fishing, swimming, SUP, visiting musk oxen, and lots of nice restaurants.
Winter and the fifth season
From October to May, you can enjoy all the experiences of winter and late winter. In Bruksvallarna, just under ten kilometers from Villa Viste, the cross-country trails are among the first to open in all of Sweden. There are 300 kilometers of groomed trails to ski on when the season peaks. Add to that six alpine ski resorts within a couple of miles, snowmobile trails, and a pleasant après-ski.
